Ameer Muhammad Akram Awan () (born 31 December 1934 in British India) is Islamic Scholar〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=The Muslim 500 )〕 and Shaikh of the Islamic Tasawwuf order Naqshbandia Owaisiah (). He is a scholar of the ''Quran'' and has written a translation for the common man in Urdu named ''Akram ut Tarajim'', a tafsir (commentary) of the ''Quran'' named ''Asrar ut Tanzil'' and many other books.
